The Executive Directors Message

MIT College of Engineering, Pune, started and took professional shape in MIT’s state-of-the-art educational campus in the year 2001 to cater to the co-education in the field of Engineering. The motivations behind this objective were technology empowerment, growth of MIT and fulfillment of the ever growing demand of industries catering to the fields of Electronics and Information Technology. It is a legacy of excellence in technical education that we have continued to nurture at this college. MITCOE is a state-of-the-art institute designed to bring the best out of its students. We address the specific needs of students in the Indian as well as the Asian sub-continent while endeavoring to meet the great expectations of industrial world by building proficient future engineers. We encourage students to achieve their full potential in careers as engineers and as leaders with a global outlook.

We believe quality education first and then expansion. In the year 2006, we started Mechanical Engineering course with full-fledged infrastructure providing student with quality resources from day one. We started the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) course with an intake of 60 students in the year 2007 in order to add management edge for technical education. This way, I am sure that it will be a techno-managerial aspect and atmosphere in the campus which will benefit all the students of this college and prepare them for better employability in the corporate world.

It is a matter of great pride and privilege to be the Executive Director of such an esteemed institution. In the last 15 years we have progressed well ahead and will continue to do so in future. I would like to assure you, that we are spear-headed towards and well-focused on excellence in technical education. As an endorsement of our commitment to quality education, we were recently awarded ISO9001-2008 Quality Certification.

I have no doubt that our students would attain high levels of educational and professional achievements.
